Wedding Dresses

A wedding dress is what a bride wears at her wedding ceremony, where she and her groom get married. In the US, it is customary for the bride's parents to buy her a new wedding dress. Wedding dresses are traditionally white and floor-length, with a train extending out behind the bride, dragging on the floor unless it is carried by the flower girls. There are several different styles of wedding dresses available. Each year fashion designers come out with new and more modern wedding dresses. Below you will find a number of the new wedding dress designs that came out in 2010.

1950s Retro Wedding Dresses

60's retro wedding dressing are adorned with belts. They are sometimes shaped like ballgowns, but are worn without the hoop skirts underneath. Some of them have fancifully shaped skirts. Some have sheer lace sleeves or neck areas. Often these are made with lace that has a pattern of small daisies. Some of these 1950s wedding dresses are tea-length, which means knee length. They are considered less formal.
